What is a handyman service and how does it work?
A handyman is a tradesperson who helps with minor repairs and home maintenance tasks for which you'd otherwise need to call several specialist firms. You only pay for hours worked – no hidden charges. Simply call or message and we'll agree on a time and price upfront.
How quickly can you come?
I respond to messages and calls within 2 hours. Regular jobs are usually scheduled within 2–3 working days. For on-call situations (water leak, broken lock) I'll be there within 2 hours of your booking.
How much does a handyman cost?
The minimum order value is 1,450 CZK – this includes the first hour of work and travel. Each additional hour is 490 CZK. The exact price is always agreed upfront so there are no surprises.
What kind of work do you do?
Furniture assembly, painting, minor repairs, plumbing, drilling and hanging, lock and lighting replacement, electrical work (sockets, switches) and minor garden jobs. Not sure if your job is in scope? Just call.
Do you work at weekends?
Regular working hours are Mon–Fri 8:00–18:00. Weekends and other times outside these hours are reserved for on-call callouts – available at an individually agreed surcharge.
Do you offer a warranty on your work?
Yes. I provide a warranty on all completed work – if a defect caused by my work appears within 30 days, I'll fix it free of charge. I work honestly and stand behind my work.
Which parts of Prague do you cover?
I work across all of Prague – Prague 1 through Prague 22, including close surroundings (Central Bohemia up to approx. 20 km from the centre). Travel is charged by actual distance.
