Terms and Conditions
1. General Provisions
These Terms and Conditions ("T&C") govern the rights and obligations between the service provider Josef Vejlupek, ID No.: 000 00 000, based in Prague ("Contractor") and any individuals or legal entities ordering his services ("Client").
By submitting an inquiry form or ordering a service in any other manner, the Client confirms that they have read and agree to these T&C.
2. Order and Contract Formation
A service contract is formed by:
- submitting and confirming the inquiry form on the website,
- verbal agreement over the phone,
- written agreement via email.
The Contractor will confirm receipt of the order typically within 2 hours. The contract is concluded at the moment the Contractor confirms the order and both parties agree on the date and scope of work.
The Contractor reserves the right to decline an order, particularly if the requested work falls outside their professional competence or capacity.
3. Pricing and Payment Terms
Prices for services are listed in the price list on the website. The final price is always agreed upon before work begins.
- Minimum order value: CZK 1,450 (includes the 1st hour of work and travel)
- Each additional hour of work: CZK 490
- On-call call-out (outside Mon–Fri 8–18, within 2 hours): price agreed individually
- Travel: included in the minimum order price
- Materials: charged separately at actual cost
Payment is due in cash or by bank transfer upon completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed. An invoice will be issued upon the Client's request.
4. Performance of Work
The Contractor undertakes to perform the agreed work properly, on time, with the necessary professional care and in accordance with applicable technical standards.
The Client is required to provide the Contractor with access to the work site and to cooperate as necessary for the work to be carried out (e.g. access to electricity, water, clearing the workspace of furniture).
Upon completion of the work, the Contractor will clean up the work area and remove construction waste to an extent appropriate to the nature of the job.
If during the work it becomes apparent that additional work or materials are required beyond the original agreement, the Contractor will inform the Client and obtain their approval before proceeding.
5. Cancellation Policy
The Client has the right to cancel an order without giving a reason:
- free of charge if cancelled at least 24 hours before the agreed date,
- cancellation fee of CZK 500 for cancellations less than 24 hours before the appointment,
- cancellation fee of CZK 1,000 for cancellations on the day of the work or if the Client is unreachable.
For on-call call-outs, the cancellation fee is CZK 1,500 regardless of the time of cancellation.
6. Complaints and Warranty
The Contractor provides a 6-month warranty on completed work from the date of handover, unless otherwise agreed.
The warranty does not cover:
- defects caused by improper use or damage by the Client or a third party,
- normal wear and tear,
- defects in materials supplied by the Client,
- damage resulting from force majeure.
Complaints should be submitted by email to info@pepevejlupek.cz or by phone. The Contractor will assess the complaint and notify the Client within 5 working days.
7. Liability for Damages
The Contractor is liable for damages caused to the Client during the performance of work due to the Contractor's fault. Liability for damages is limited to the amount of the agreed contract price.
The Contractor is not liable for damages resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the Client, nor for hidden defects in the existing structure or installation.
8. Personal Data Protection
The Client's personal data (name, email, phone, address) is processed by the Contractor as data controller for the purpose of contract performance and communication within the scope of the order. Data is not shared with third parties.
The Client has the right to access, correct or delete their personal data. Requests can be submitted by email to info@pepevejlupek.cz.
9. Final Provisions
These T&C are valid and effective from 1 January 2024. The Contractor reserves the right to amend the T&C; the current version is always available on the website.
The parties undertake to resolve all disputes amicably in the first instance. If this is not possible, the competent courts of the Czech Republic shall have jurisdiction. Matters not covered by these T&C are governed by Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code of the Czech Republic.
